November 05 Bypass the 512 Character limit on SandboxWith the recent MSN Spaces update, They have increased the Character limit to maybe twice than before or nlimted. This tutorial is therefore not useful and has become invalid. Please do NOT carry out the instructions below !
Want to add just a bit more to the Custom HTML module/Sandbox ? Is the 512 character limit bugging you ? Make it around 600. This is an attempt to bypass the 512 character limit put by Team MSN on your Custom HTML Module/Sandbox. Please click here before you attempt to carry this out.
javascript:var e1=document.getElementById("htmlText");var e2=document.getElementById("moduleName");XMLHttp("FormMethod=post&MethodType=savehtml&moduleName="+SimpleEncode(e2.value)+"&showBorder=false&rawData="+SimpleEncode(e1.innerHTML),"http://spaces.msn.com/members/YourID/PersonalSpace.aspx?_c=CustomHTML&_c02_owner=1");void(location.reload());
Note : You may have to try multiple times to get it right. Sometimes it chooses a random limit by itself. I got cut off at 548 characters and later on at 600 characters. The type of HTML code put in may also effect your result. You can save the Javacode above as a Favorite so you don't have to copy paste it all the time.
Original adaptation from atiger. Also thanx to Sanall Cobain for the Javascript
