- A big thanx to Jane for sending this tutorial.
- MSN Space is designed for 800x600 display mode, and the screen content display width is no more than 800px. However, most of us are using 1024x768 screen display, thus there exist the right hand blank space . Now a new way appears to put MSN Space modules on the right hand blank space. The creator of this method is Atiger
Before you start :
You need to have the Custom html Sandbox Module [Click on the link to get it]
This tuorial Works for 2 and 3 column layouts only.
First Step:
For two column layout :
- Put "Custom HTML" module on the top of the left column.
- Put blog module under a "custom HTML" module.
- Put all the rest modules in the right column.
or
For three column layout:
- Don't put any modules in the left column (keep it empty).
- Put "Custom HTML" module on the top of the middle column,Put blog module under "Custom HTML" module.
- Put all the rest modules in the right column.
Second Step:
Put following codes into The custom HTML Module :
</table></table><table width=XXXX><tbody><tr><td>
- Replace the XXXX with the width of the blog entry you desire in pixels.
For e.g. :
</table></table><table width=998><tbody><tr><td> [or]
</table></table><table width=1024><tbody><tr><td>
- (You can put the above code in into your Custom HTML module either before your other codes in "Customer HTML" or after those codes, the effects might be slightly different)
'Save' the change, and preview the effect.
- Done !
Thanx to Omega for the Custom width code
