Custom Space Background
Does not work anymore.. please do not attempt it!
- You will need a Custom HTML Module / Sandbox.
- Then, You will have to change your blog layout to 2 columns if your isn't.
- To do it. Click on Customize >> Layouts and Choose the 5th one.
- Click 'Save'
- Now place the Custom HTML module on the Top-left area. As shown by the orange area in the picture below :
Now get a good quality background picture that you would like to use as your space background. Try Google Image search.
-
Save it to your computer.
-
Upload the saved image to a image hosting service and get it's URL.
-
Click here to learn more about image hosting and getting URLs.
Now insert the code below into your custom html module :
</table></table></td></tr><tr><td><table width=1000 background="Background Picture URL here"><tr><td><table>
See picture below for a better understanding:
Note: Make sure you got the Sandbox module in the right place. The layout should be the right one and the code should not be changed at all other than what is asked. If all is done correctly you will get the optimum result. If not re-read! ooh, Also I am not responsible if your space messes up in anyway. In case it does, remove the Custom HTML module.
Thanx to Atiger and more details on his space.
