YouTube is a website where users upload thousands of self-made videos and other content. It is like blogging for Videos and am sure you will find something that will meet your needs.

First,

You will need to get the Video player for Youtube gadget...

• Click here to get it onto your space
• Install and place the Youtube Player Gadget on your space and place it where you want it to be. A central position on your space will give you the best result. 
• Go to http://www.youtube.com/ and select or search for a video you like.
• The video starts playing and you will notice on the right hand side, There will be codes given for URL and Embed
• Select all of the code besides Embed and copy it. (Ctrl + C)



• Paste this code into the Youtube gadget that you installed before.
• Press Save.

• Preview your space and you will see that you have Youtube video on your Space.

Note- Play around with the position of the youtube gadget until you think it is the best size and position for your space.

You now have a choice of playing thousands of videos on your space and also upload your own to youtube and play it on your space!

First,

You will need to get the Space media player on your Space first. Click here to learn how to.

Go to http://www.youtube.com/ and select or search for a video you like.

• The video starts playing and you will notice on the right hand side, under the 'About this Video' module. There will be codes under URL and Embed
• Select all of the code besides Embed and copy it. (Ctrl + C)

Open notepad (Don't ask how!) and paste this code that you copied in the step earlier.

• There is a lot of junk in this code and we need to get rid of it.
• Search for the first http  in the code.
• Highlight the code that is in between "   " and copy it.

For example, I got a Embed code that looked like >>

After having searched for http and having copied copy the code in between "     "  as shown above in red.

Go to www.tinyurl.com and get a tinyurl for it.

I got : http://tinyurl.com/p5n75

• Now modify this URL http://tinyurl.com/p5n75  to http://tinyurl.com/p5n75#.wmv , that is, add #.wmv at the end. (The tiny URL may be different in your case)
• Click here to see a previous tutorial explaining this method a little more clearly if you are having difficulties, that is.
• Now take this URL and paste it in your media player and click 'Save'.

You can now have 1000's of You-tube working on your Space media player ;-)
